Open to: candidates of Member and non-Member States of UNESCO that have a national MAB Committee, holding a first degree (10 annually); maximum age limit: 40. Place of study: in applicant's country; endorsement of national MAB committee is an obligatory requirement. Duration: 1 or 2 years, depending upon the objectives of study (not renewable). Value: maximum US$5,000 (funds cannot be used for international travel). Applications: by 30 May. Applications may be downloaded at http://www.unesco.org/mab/capacity/mys/ awarmab2.htm and must be submitted via the MAB National Committee or UNESCO National Commission (in countries without MAB Committees) for endorsement before submission to UNESCO.
