Open to: young scientists who are on staff at a university or research institution; less than 36 years of age on 1 October of the year the course is commenced; with good command of English.
Duration: 1 year (non-renewable).
Value: 258,000 yen, with additional 30,000 yen upon arrival, a roundtrip air ticket from the nearest international airport of the participant's residence to Tokyo.
